Born and raised in Mexico, Rossana Miranda-Johnston received a master’s degree in Intercultural Management from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont (USA). She has lived and worked in Mexico, the United States, Portugal, Israel, England, and Italy. Rossana has contributed to several publications on the business culture of Mexico and is a regular presenter at international conferences in her field.

Eun Young Kim, Ph.D.

Originally from Korea, Eun Kim has brought cross-cultural training and coachingEun Y. Kim to clients across the globe. With a BA from Seoul National University and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, Eun has worked in both the U.S. and Asia as a trainer, consultant and executive coach.

As a pioneer in cross-cultural training, she has brought Korean business cultural expertise to clients across the U.S. As an expert in global leadership, change management, and intercultural communication, Eun has designed and conducted cultural change and talent development programs for numerous multinationals and helped more than 30,000 leaders improve their global leadership competencies and influencing skills.

Eun Kim is the author of nine books and guides on business and cross-cultural communication, including A Cross-cultural Reference on Business Practices in a New Korea; Global Intelligence: Seven Pillars for New Global Leaders; The Yin and Yang of American Culture: A Paradox; New Hispanics: The New Image for New Leaders; and a Korean best seller, Image-making. Eun has also coauthored on-line culture learning tools - Cultural Detective USA and Cultural Detective Korea.

Having been one of the first women professionals hired by a Korean conglomerate (Hyundai) after college, she has facilitated numerous individual/group coaching sessions for female leaders.

Colleen Kelley smallColleen Kelley has been an organization development consultant and human relations trainer for over twenty five years. She has a strong background in experiential design and facilitation, team building and organization development techniques.

Dr. Kelley has worked successfully with a wide variety of clients in both the private and public sectors and in various countries, on both long- and short-term projects. During her career, she has designed and facilitated hundreds of training and team building events ranging from one-half day to two weeks, including training and team building with bi-cultural and multi-cultural teams, and ongoing organizational change projects including data gathering, diagnosis, and implementation

In 1994/95, she co-designed, produced training materials, and prepared leaders and facilitators to implement an organizational culture-change intervention for AT&T Network Systems. In 1989 and 1990 Dr. Kelley was a trainer and facilitator for the AT&T Consumer Products Common Learning Experience. The 1989 program put approximately 3,500 managers through a five-day management training over a period of 36 weeks. Training themes included: the company's core values; leadership, including feedback, communication and coaching; quality techniques and tools; vision; and basic team skills.

Specific generic problem areas were used to practice the quality tools. The 1990 program put the same managers through a training with their intact work groups. The training focused on teamwork; awareness of team process; coaching; and feedback skills. She has authored a number of works in the field, including Assertion Training: A Facilitator's Guide, and the Cross-Cultural Adaptability Inventory. Trained in a variety of personal and professional development areas, she is equally comfortable in presenting information and facilitating group interaction. As a senior external staff member of University Associates Human Relations Publishers and Consultants from 1974 to 1982, she co-designed and facilitated training of trainers in UA's public workshops in the areas of training design and implementation, facilitation style, team building, and organization development.

She has worked with organizations around the world including the United States, Japan, Australia, Mexico, Sweden, Venezuela, France and Canada. She has taught for Purdue and Pepperdine Universities and studied for two years in France on a Fulbright Grant. She holds degrees in Modern Languages (B.A.), French Language and Literature/ Educational Psychology (M.A.), Human Resource Development (M.H.R.D.) and Professional Psychology (Ph.D.). A specialist in cross cultural relations, she excels at designing programs which give immediate skills and practical knowledge.

Anne Randerson, Ph.D.

Anne Randerson is an intercultural business consultant and trainer specializing in cross-cultural business communication (EU-Japan-USA), global leadership, diversity, global mobility, comparative lifestyles and cultural integration.

Born and raised in San Diego, California, Anne has lived for nearly 25 years as an expatriate in Belgium, Japan, France and Spain. Through her diverse expatriate experiences, Anne has learned to speak six languages, including French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and Japanese.

Anne received her B.A. degree in French from the University of California at Davis, and her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Human Life Studies from Koriyama Women's University, in Fukushima prefecture, Japan. After conducting her doctoral research for six years in Japan, funded by a Monbusho Japanese government academic research scholarship, Anne returned to Europe in 2003, to work as a translator at NYSE Euronext, the international stock exchange in Brussels, Belgium.

At the same time, she began guest lecturing at United Business Institutes. Currently, in addition to consulting and leading training seminars for corporate clients, Anne is an MBA lecturer in Intercultural Business Communication at United Business Institutes in Brussels, Belgium, and a regular visiting lecturer at Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and VERN University of Applied Sciences, Zagreb, Croatia. She has taught seminars at various institutions in Europe, including the European Commission, the European Training Institute, and the International School of Protocol in Brussels.

Anne has been teaching graduate courses in Culture and Development, Leadership, Project Management and Communications at Boston University in Brussels since 2008, and teaches Creative Writing for Expatriates courses at the European Commission and the American Women's Club of Brussels. She is also a founding member of Caravan Press, a Brussels-based initiative to help expatriates publish their international stories. Photos from Anne's book, Scenes of Japan, have been exhibited in numerous locations, including both the Japanese and American Embassies in Brussels, Belgium.

Over 25 years of expatriate experience living in several European countries, Japan, and the USA have developed Anne's curiosity and appreciation for diversity. Her work as a cross-cultural trainer and leadership consultant requires her to facilitate interactive discussions and intercultural exchanges, and she relies on her strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with individuals from extremely diverse backgrounds.

As a seminar facilitator in global companies and EU institutions, she regularly team-teaches, co-designs and co-facilitates seminars for clients and colleagues. She highly appreciates the synergy and creativity resulting from combining individual strengths and sources of knowledge and inspiration. She has an intense desire to motivate the participants in her seminars through interactive presentations, role-playing, self-assessment activities and teambuilding exercises.

Anne also strives to keeps abreast of the constantly evolving needs of multicultural teams and individuals from around the world. Therefore, in addition to leading training seminars and teaching at universities, she writes articles to promote intercultural awareness, and regularly participates in international panel discussions, forums, and radio programs.

 

 

Liliana Cantú

Liliana Cantú, a native of Mexico, has a BS degree in Marketing and a Cantu LilianaMasters Degree in Communication with an emphasis on Intercultural Communication. She also holds an Intercultural Foundations Certificate awarded by the Intercultural Communication Institute.

She has professional experience in the fields of human resources, public relations and international relocation destination services. Additionally she has extensive experience in the design, customization and delivery of cross-culturall, global leadership, conflict management, mediation, team building, ethics and diversity training.

Bilingual and bicultural, she can present programs in either English or Spanish, and has personal intercultural experience in a variety of countries including the United States, Canada, Venezuela, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Portugal.

Liliana has participated as a speaker and planning committee member at international symposia, and served at the 2004-2005 Employee Relocation Council’s Global Advisory Council. She has delivered and coordinated training programs for national and international audiences, in organizations such as Novartis, Daimler, Kraft, Caterpillar, Merck, Nissan, HP, Michelin, DELL, PepsiCo, Toyota, Delphi, Starwood, Lego, Whirlpool, John Deere, Unilever, Nissan, Medtronic and the UN.

Liliana has also performed as a part time university professor at one of the most prestigious institutions in Latin America: the ITESM (commonly known as Monterrey Tech), where she has taught intercultural communication courses to national and international students, in Spanish and English.  Based in Monterrey, Mexico, she conducts programs for clients wherever needed.
