Japanese Subsidiaries in Mexico: A Cross-Cultural Audit

Japanese subsidiaries in the Mexico manufacturing sector face a unique set of cross-cultural challenges and opportunities. This audit explores some of these issues from both the Mexican and Japanese perspectives and provides some solutions to each problem mentioned during the interviews. The purpose of this paper is to help start a dialogue to increase cross-cultural understanding and build a more productive, positive workplace in these subsidiaries.
