Barbara Chronowski specializes in the introduction of techniques necessary to do business in the global marketplace to excel in today's international society through the application of International Excellence®: Breakthrough Strategies for Personal and Professional Success seminars. She is a popular presenter and instructor for U.S. companies, drawing on 20 years of experience as a cross-cultural consultant and trainer, as well as her extensive knowledge of Russia and Eastern Europe.
She has also lectured on Western marketing principles and business topics at various worldwide institutions including the prestigious Moscow Institute for International Relations, and has facilitated training workshops on modern business practices throughout the United States.
In 1995-96 she was Director of a high technology business development network, which focused on analyzing and recommending market applications for emerging technologies. This position required opening, staffing and running a local office, as well as developing training programs with local government support, which required her to perform cultural liaison duties for high ranking dignitaries including General Colin Powell and his entourage.
Ms. Chronowski has a Masters Degree in International Management from the Monterey Institute of International Studies with an emphasis on Soviet Studies and East-West trade. She speaks fluent Russian and Polish and has intensive language training from the Pushkin Institute of Foreign Languages in Moscow, the University of Krakow, Poland and additionally acquired Russian Business negotiation and in-depth east-west trade strategies skills at Bryn Mawr College. She is the author of the introduction and compiler of business acronyms for the western edition of the Russian-English Business Dictionary (Wiley & Sons, 1993).
