While fortune telling by palm reading is familiar to Westerners, the Korean art of pinky-reading is less well known. Perhaps more than fortune telling, it is a personality assessment, available for all who see your hands to take in. Take a look and see what you think.
Type 1: Top of little finger in line with ring finger joint.
You are even tempered with a mature, easy going personality. You are pleasant, funny, and forthcoming about your feelings. You’re hard to ruffle. You do, however, have a tendency to fear loneliness, which keeps you from revealing the intriguing “real you” until you know the other person well.
Type 2: Top of little finger higher than ring finger joint.
You are bighearted and openhanded. Your giving and charming personality draw many people to you and you bask in the attention. You desire to keep harmony and avoid conflict in relationships, but this causes some to question your honesty until they understand your true nature.
Type 3: Top of little finger shorter than ring finger joint.
You will do anything to help your real friends but find it less easy to let others do things for you. You are somewhat introverted and find it difficult to express your feelings to others. You set high standards for yourself and others, and feel let down if they fall short of your expectations. You, on the other hand, are quite capable of meeting your high goals as long as you don’t shy away from them.
You can also look at the shape of the finger:
Pointy – Diplomatic and articulate. Language comes easily to you, including foreign languages.
Square – Bold and Blunt. You can be a good leader if your unmitigated honesty doesn’t alienate too many.
Curved – Peacemaker. You dislike conflict of any kind and will work to keep harmony in your and other’s relationships.
